The semester is just starting to kick into full-gear, and it has been an auspicious start here at Beta Psi. This month, we wanted to shine a spotlight on our newly elected Philanthropy Chair, Ross Cefalu and call attention to our all of our philanthropic endeavors. Unlike other months, we had Ross write up a quick report on everything philanthropy happening here at the chapter.

On January 31, past consuls gathered to welcome new Beta Psi Consul Patrick Prestridge and congratulate outgoing Consul Hunter Podlin for a job well done. With over 20 consuls in attendance, bestowing advice and history upon Patrick, we know his term will be a successful one.
2018 was another great year for our fundraising efforts as we surpassed our projections with $134,343 in total donations from 131 Alumni Brothers. We thank all of you for your generous giving which enabled us to continue the support for today’s active brothers.
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I begin my term as President of the Beta Psi Foundation. There is no doubt in my mind that our Foundation has a profound impact on the development of our Undergraduate Brothers as they continue to lead in the classroom, in campus leadership positions, and in their careers. We are able to support our Chapter with financial assistance through scholarships and through the Lead for Life leadership development program. But did you know that the Foundation also provides financial support to Sigma Chi National, which directly benefits our undergrads?
